The book begins with the fundamentals of Visual Basic and its environment. It then describes the primary features, and presents advanced Visual Basic coding, functions and procedures. The author also describes the programme's event procedures (independent pieces of programme that "wake up" and respond to events such as mouse clicks), and how to use them. The last chapter covers debugging, compiler directives, and system-level tools. Appendices include ASCII codes, installing the programme, editor commands, and a quick reference for performing various tasks.
