Top Gear is without a doubt the best motoring programme being broadcasted in the UK, with its witty presenting, informative car reviews and outragous stunts. And this bucket of highlights can only do the series justice.
What you get is basically all of the more lighthearted and entertaining sections that the viewer has been accustomed to throughout series 3-5, the previous DVD covering series 1 and 2. Their most popular feats such as the pickup destruction, bobsleigh race, DB9 vs train race and even the Citroen 2CV getting battered by a jet engine are all included and it is great to own these priceless moments on DVD at last.
Also included are a few bits of unseen footage, where Richard Hammond will dish out a few forced comments between all the clips, which are slightly unnessecary sometimes it has to be said. It could be much worse however, and they also included a few outtakes which are amusing on first viewing. However, the footage most fans would probably be interested in viewing is the cockpit cam view of the stig driving the formula one car around the test track, which is quite interesting and rare.
Overall this is a good package containing some of the best and most interesting moments from the past 3 series, and makes for a satisfying hour and a half. Unfortunately, you just can't help but plead for more unseen footage than is given, which is a bit of a shame. Definitely recommended for newcomers to Top Gear.
It may well be well and good to have these highlights on DVD, but what everyone surely wants is for the BBC to release series box sets. Now there's a thought.

Top Gear Revved up features the best bits from the 3rd and 4th series of the popular tv show. It includes the fantastic, Monte Carlo or Bust Race, a race to Monte Carlo, JC in an Aston DB9, Hammond and May on a train, and the bobsleigh race, as well as others. The best skit on the DVD though must be the indestructable truck. The team got a Toyota Hilux, and no matter what they did, there was no way of destroying it. They drowned it, set fire to it, dropped a caravan on it, hit it with a wrecking ball, drove it through the Top Gear production office, and even put it on top of a block of flats about to be destroyed. And yet somehow, it still lives. Amazing.
The DVD is presented by Richard Hammond, and also features outtakes and the stigs best bits. But the best bit of the DVD is a must see for Top Gear fans. We see exclusive onboard cockpit cam footage of when the stig drove the Renault R25 F1 car round the test track in record time. Watch how amazing it handles, even in the wet, and see the record breaking lap.
Overall, a good DVD featuring all the best bits, presented well, and with some good extras. 8/10

This dvd is one of the best things on television. Words can not explain how much i love this tv show. Even if you dont like cars, this dvd will charm you in every way possible. You see as well as being a brillliant motoring advice show, Top Gear is also a brilliant comedy as Jeremy, James and of course Richard 'Hamster' Hammond get up to their usual antics of explosions, destroying things and generally being daft. These presenters go so well together, making this dvd an aboslutely essential purchase. As the great man Jeremy Clarkson says, on that bombshell its time to end this review. Astounding.

Great video shame about the DVD
Love Top Gear - I have no issues with the content but the DVD was faulty. Beware of buying second hand DVDs.

2 hours DVD, not 33mins
Reviewer 'jbirse' from Canada has incorrectly stated this DVd as being 33 mins. He must be refering the the edited free version which came with magazine /newspaper. Read more

Hacking up of a great show.....
Enjoyed the DVD kind of. Let me explain. In Canada on BBC World we see 30 mins of each episode that you see in the UK. Read more
