Wow, what a book. A really gripping sequel to The Crew, with more twists and turns than a snake around a corkscrew. A really great author who I might have overlooked without my Kindle.

Being fairly new to Dougie Brimson's work, I purchased this book after first reading "The Crew."
Just like The Crew the book has many unexpected twists and turns. The thought of a hoolie firm taking over the security contract at their football club is a concept that can only come from a mind that thinks far "outside the box!"
I have already purchased "Everywhere We Go" although I haven't read it yet, but if it is anything like the first 2 Brimson books, I'm sure it will be both entertaining and thought provoking.
I understand Everywhere We Go is Brimson's first novel and am looking forward to reading it very much.
I'm sure I will be working my way through all Brimson's catalogue in the near future - I am definately a fan!

Purchased this after getting The Crew as a freebie and was not disappointed . Love how the author has given us even more of an insight into the characters this time round .I really enjoyed how they come across as more than just thugs and how they start to acknowledge the consequences of their actions , almost like watching them grow up. I couldn't help but fall for the cheeky chappie personas and I was willing them to go straight . Was also interesting how the main character Billy Evans progresses further into violence and crime in his search for a bigger buzz/thrill only to pay the ultimate price for his actions. Was confused, feeling one minute he was getting what he deserved, then feeling sorry for him because he lost so much through his own actions.By the end I was wishing for the third instalment , I want to know how Billy Evans deals with the consequences of his involvement in crime , how he copes with the guilt. Will he finally go straight and bring up the boys he loves so much or will he seek revenge. Will the other members of the CSS seek revenge on his behalf.
Was happy to read on the authors web site that there will be a third instalment . I for one cannot wait .
