About the Author
Richard Bewes, OBE, was rector of All Souls Church, Langham Place in the heart of London's West End. He now co-hosts the Bible Study series Book by Book and is author of 18 books himself.

Richard Bewes has spent a lifetime hearing and responding to the many questions people ask about Christian faith.
Some of the questions he answers include:
Can you explain evil?
Why doesn't God intervene?
Where does Jesus fit in?
Why am I stuck with Adam?
Is faith a leap in the dark?
Is the Bible a unique authority?
Can I lose my salvation?
Why should Christians suffer?
Why are Christians a problem?

Some of the bible passages discussed include:
Genesis 1 - The six days of Creation

Genesis 22 - Why sacrifice Isaac?
Leviticus -an enjoyable read?
Numbers 22:28 -a talking donkey?
Matthew and Luke -Jesus' genealogy
Matthew 24:36 -The unknown date?
1 Peter 3:21 -Baptism saves us?

The answers given are always thought-provoking, though I do not endorse every thing he says.

But the book is well worth reading and should stimulate thought about some of the questions we all ask about the bible and Christian faith.

Highly recommended.
