This book contains 8 pages of scant information about diets. What is does contain is the latest information on diets plus 100 items of food consisting of fruits & vegetables, low fat protein, herbs and nuts & seeds. Pure common sense to anyone who knows about diets and anyone hoping to loose weight is already aware. This book though pretty and full of nutritional information was not full in my opinion of 100 diet secrets and was therefore a disappointment to me. I think by now we all know that the only way to loose weight is to eat more fresh fruit & vegetables and less fat. It is an attractive book with interesting recipes; I just felt that the title of this book was misleading.

i hate diets but have trouble eating healthy food due to allergies. I got this to see what foods i do eat, and could also eat and what benefit i would recieve from these foods. I now think about what i eat and its health benifits to me. This is an excellent guide to food telling also about nutrients and what benefits each food has to things like skin conditions etc there are also little receipts on each page which are easy to make. its factual and intresting without being boring without telling you what you already know.

This book is full of colourful pictures and some fun facts about certain foods that you may not know already. Would I say it's a guide on 100 top diet secrets that I didn't already now? No, it certainly isn't. Will this book show me how to stay slim? No, it won't. Perhaps it's a good overview for someone who is very clueless about nutrition and foods in general. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who knows the food pyramid structure already or who is aware that fast food is bad for you.
