On occasion Russell Ash, the man who if not the creator of the Top 10 genre has certainly made it his own, has compiled a series of Top 10 offshoots.
This is one of the best - a terrific little (in size not content) compendium of facts and figures about this crowded, small island we call home.
Top 10 Of Britain has 250 lists and where else can you find the 10 most popular sandwich fillings (chicken tops cheese) alongside the opening lines of 10 classic British books and the 10 most popular songs people "perform" at karaoke?
Not just bare lists, many entries have fascinating facts and terrific trivia.
A book that is highly recommended and makes not just a great stocking filler but a must have for the fact maven in your family all year round.
