5.0 out of 5 stars Bookshelf essential 2 Oct 2007
Format:Paperback
This is one of those rare books that belong in every business person's personal library. It gives the absolute nuts and bolts of all the 'tools' used within business that deal with 'soft' skills. Introduction or reminder it is a great resource to start with or to prompt ideas.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of common sense, though well packaged... 9 May 2004
Format:Paperback
A good book though not the type of book one would read in one setting. It's works best as a reference book offering alternative methods and practices (many of which are highly practical) to common or ongoing management issues. Can management be taught? Don't think so, but it can always be improved upon and this is where this book works best. Useful too, for accountants or other professions who wouldn't know or need to know a whole lot about general/core management issues. There a lot of common sense in 'Tools for Success' but in management, common sense is not always that common. Good book altogether, easy to follow and well packaged/presented.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Business Problem Solving Compendium 20 Dec 2004
By Mr. GF Settle VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback
Every now and then you come across a book that you wish you could have put together. I've been looking for this book for years and now here it is.

It contains a brief overview of all the problem solving tools I have learnt over many years of study at college and more AND they are presented in a clear and concise manner.

The author enables you to use or practice them straight away and get RESULTS.

It will certainly be my first point of reference and BUSINESS TOOL KIT for PROBLEM SOLVING and much much more.

Thanks You Suzanne as you say someone said that everyone has a book in them, I'll die happy if I can produce a work like yours, I've got the ideas BUT that's just the seed you've nurtured and grown that idea.
