Bought my zapper last week and it works excellent one of the best i've used and with it's saftey switch i can leave it lying around with no fear the kids are going to zap themselves, great product worth every penny.

We've affectionately named this zapper 'Frank'. It's truly the most effective way to destroy any unwanted flying visitors into your home, well small ones anyway. The fact that it doesn't kill the little feckers outright eases my guilt somewhat but hey, mess with my food and I'll mess with you, cos that's the way I roll!

I bought this one month ago due to a fruit fly issue in my flat, as I was tired of the little bleeders miraculously escaping a swatter swipe or a hand clap splat attempt. They don't escape this device. Very easy to wield - it only takes a few attempts to master the button/slide safety mechanism (which is awkward enough to ensure it is safe from those too young to appreciate that it is dangerous). It also has metal grills over the electric grid to prevent accidental shock when in use. The initial batteries are still going strong.
My flat's fruit fly population were taking a crackling, combusting battering before the root of the issue was rectified. Now I am waiting for wasp season to kick in - I might even take it to a few beer gardens with me.
I would definitely recommend it, although probably not to Buddhists..

works on wasps, haven't tried on anything small yet
Bigger bugs like wasps die, but slowly as they get caught in the mesh, head first, then have their antennae and heads slowly frazzled. Read more
