Product Description

Review

Very funny, highly recommended (Lee Mack)

Hilarious (Jimmy Carr)

Dave lampoons a collection of the most outrageous, amusing and downright farcical local news stories from the last few years... no story is safe from Dave's laugh-out-loud mockery, as he pokes fun at the articles and their protagonists with his trademark wit and humour (Yorkshire Post)

Laugh out loud funny in places, this is an affectionate look at local newspaper life (Lancashire Evening Post)

Stranger than fiction. And funnier (Richard Madeley, Richard & Judy)

About the Author

I was not really aware of Dave Spikey until I heard him on Radio Five Live the other day - he was hilarious - I had to almost pull the car over I was laughing so much.
This book is a collection of local newspaper stories that he comments on - its very funny indeed and the headlines are just genius!
Laugh out loud funny and a great buy.

I bought this for my boyfriend who immediately became one of those annoying people that laugh out loud on trains whilst reading. So I borrowed it, and it's brilliant!! I love reading random stories like this in the newspaper, and this book brings them all together with Spikey's hilarious commentary. Definitely worth buying, either for yourself or as a gift, it will have you laughing out loud!
