Product Description

thegoodbookstall.org.uk, May 2004

I felt (this book) had been written especially for me as he seemed to address all my weaknesses --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Book Description

Bill Hybels' book on prayer for busy people has been widely read and appreciated for the last twenty years. During this time the urgent need for prayer has not diminished, but busyness still impedes many of us from finding space to pray.

So the author once again offers us his practical, tested ideas on slowing down to pray. Revised throughout and including a new introduction and new chapter on prayer and compassion for the world, this twentieth-anniversary edition of 'Too Busy Not to Pray' calls us to make prayer a priority, and broadens our vision for what God does when his people slow down to pray.

This is a book for any Christian, new or old, about how to pray. Practical and easy to read, it should challenge anyone who reads it to pray more, and also offers suggestions as to how to go about it. Even if you've never even read a book about prayer, go for this one- it's easy to get your head around, and will encourage and equip you. Recommended. If you're looking for something more hardcore, check out Don Carson's 'A Call to Spiritual Reformation'.
