Ok, so it's not high literature, but Lauren Henderson has written a cracking book about a sassy, witty English(!) female detective. Sam is no ordinary private eye - caught up in a web of intrigue, she also has to balance her job as a fitness instructor and artist, with life in the shoes of a 21st century Miss Marple. If you like your detetive stories with a touch of cayene pepper, then you'll enjoy not only this one, but those that follow.

this was thrilling and it was nice to see a female bieng the main carecter. So true to life, it was very very compelling. Pick it up you wont put it down. Another good book by the same autor and the same carecter is "dead white female". Thanks lauren henderson.
