This originally was 3 VHS videos and it's great to see this DVD reissue. Tony Jacklin got together with Bruce Critchley on the course at Castletown, Isle Of Man and put together a classic piece of golf instruction. No fuss, no frills, just golf the Jacklin way. He covers just about every aspect you could think of in these 3 volumes - Keep It Simple, The Long Game and The Short Game. You could spend a fortune on umpteen DVDs these days, but this one is as good as you'll get on how to get it all together in a round of golf. Highly recommended.

Jacklin deals with the everyday reality of playing golf and gives useful advice, e.g. play at 90% not 110 %. He stresses the importance of rhythm in hitting the ball crisply, that the controlled contact will send it further than the uncontrolled slam. He also takes the fear out of difficult lies, including in bunkers. Like Armour he keeps it simple and always stresses the basics, e.g. the grip and keeping the left arm firm at the elbow ; try his tip about trying to keep a coin under the heel of the left hand as you swing and you will see what he means.Highly recommended.
