Tony Flowers has lived for quite a long time. He is still mildly surprised that he is not 25 years old and that the Beatles have split up. He is married too Sue and is still deeply in love with her. He has two children, Amy and Denny, who are also married to two great partners, Steve and Beth. He also has two young grandsons, Seth and Cal, who bring great joy to his life. He tries not to spoil them too much, but fails miserably.
Tony spends most of his time writing, reading (mostly history, fantasy and Graphic novels), creating art on his Ipad and listening to 'Americana' music: the more miserable the better. This, mostly, keeps him out of mischief. Tony and Sue love travelling, especially to the tropics. Laying on tropical beaches and watching the sea and sky is one of Tony's more more energetic pursuits.
Tony weight trains most days but makes sure that he drinks and smokes so as to balance out the health-giving effects of exercise.
He never really got over being a hippy.
Tony's main remaining ambition is to become the new Batman, for real.

The materials Sue and Tony have developed. and used .form the basis for these books.
These books is deliberately priced very cheaply. We do not envisage making much money from it! But that's not the idea. We have both struggled to afford decent textbooks for our students over the years, and we know that many of our colleagues have had similar problems. Often textbooks cannot be taken home. This book aims to remedy this. Any A2 Sociology student can afford this book and because it is an 'e-book' it can be downloaded to your P.C. Laptop, Kindle, Ipad or any other appropriate device. It is thus easily transported and can be used almost anywhere. You can of course also print yourself off a copy.
