I bought this item, about a month ago, very slow to heat up. And useless at getting the curls in. Would not suggest buying this product. Go for a braun cordless gas re-fill tong. will cost you about £15.

I was thoroughly disappointed with these tongs! I have used many different curlers in the past and have managed to produce nice results but this time I was looking to create waves or large loose curls rather than tight ringlets. These tongs looked like they'd do the job considering their large barrel. I was also reassured by the brand name.
First I noticed that they took ages to heat up and smell strange. When they eventually reach the right temperature they perform as though they're not on at all! They DON'T create ringlets, curls, waves or anything! The hair just comes out looking the same. Using hairspray doesn't improve matters either. Terrible. Don't waste your money and avoid at all costs!

I have been using straigtheners and tongs for years and thought I go for a big name product this time. BIG mistake.
This is the worst styling tool I have ever owned. It heats up quick and looks good, easy to handle but it does not what it claims. After trying for ten minutes to get even the slightest wave into my hair I gave up. I get better results with straighteners, when I twist them trhough my hair.
This product will be returned today and I will ask for refund.
