Great hair dryer very quiet compared to my last one. This is sleek and stylish all the settings you will need... my only gripe ......would have liked a slightly longer lead to the wall socket

I purchased this hairdryer as I was looking for a dryer which would give my hair volume and curls. I have thick mid-length wavy hair, which is quite heavy and so not always easy to style. My previous hairdryer (a Boots one), was great, but broke down and has been discontinued. Since this Tony & Guy is advertised as being especially for creating volume and curls, I thought it would be perfect, but unfortunately it does not suit my hair at all: my hair has now no volume, and no waves, let alone curls! I even had to stop using conditioner as it makes it even worse. The dryer makes the hair even heavier than usual, and conditions it way too much, and it actually also makes it flyaway (which does sound like a paradox!). So in all, totally disappointed with my purchase, and will have to look for a new dryer: no mean feat, as it seems most dryers now come with this "ionic technology".
