We aim to re-use as many original components as we can whilst ensuring that this does not have a negative impact on performance. Any whole cartridges or cartridge parts that no longer achieve our high quality standards and therefore have come to the end of their serviceable life are recycled locally. Additionally we aim to recycle most of the plastics and metals including physically damaged cartridges, paper, cardboard and aluminum cans.

This product was produced in a factory that has received an ISO9001 certification. The ISO9001 quality management system extends to every facet of the remanufacturing process which ensures tight controls over the specification, remanufacturing processes and procedures for the collection of the empty cartridges, the thorough cleaning systems, the filling and print testing processes, the calibration of the filling and testing equipment, the training and qualification of all employees and the packaging and delivery systems for the finished product. This attention to detail coupled with quantifiable process measurement and regular audit (both internal and external) all contribute to the production and delivery of a high quality product.

The basic remanufacturing process consists of the recovery of an empty cartridge. It is then expertly assessed to ensure it meets our strict quality criteria. The cartridge is then emptied and dismantled with each and every component being checked for reuse before proceeding to the cleaning stage. During cleaning all remaining toner powder is completely removed before the rebuilding process starts. Reused components coupled with new parts where required are then meticulously put back together to the correct specification ensuring all seals are re-aligned to the right tolerance. This is followed by the filling process where new toner powder is volumetrically added at the specified weight guaranteeing the page yield requirement. The quality print testing follows where each and every cartridge is checked for quality performance benchmarked against the OEM assessing the optical density, consistency/clarity of print, ghosting and chip recognition. Finally the cartridge is prepared for customer dispatch through labeling, sealing and packaged in a secure postal box solution. In the labeling process a unique Production batch code is printed to ensure complete traceability of the cartridge with the code containing all the specific remanufacturing details of that cartridge.
