4.0 out of 5 stars Yellow? Srsly? 8 Oct 2011
By Luke Y
An absolutely fantastic buy, I wanted something cheap mainly because I haven't tried sound eggs before but also because I only needed them for one song. Having used them for a while now and gained experience with them as an instrument I'm finding holes in my setlist for them again and again. Very versatile, an excellent tool for any percussionist (or any musician for that matter).

Just one thing though, make sure you specify the colour you want (details on the page I think) because they can come in a rather disgusting blend of lemon yellow and ice blue 0_0...

These are great for impromptu music making, and they make a good sound too. They are the same size as a real hen's egg. Everyone loves them

5.0 out of 5 stars funny looking, and good sounding eggs 25 Mar 2014

I am a musician, I have bought these for an improvisation session and they caught everybody's eye.

I was a bit concerned about them being plastic and not sounding good, but trust me, they have a strong sound which is very pleasing (well, for a shaker anyway).

They feel good in the hand, easy to use, and easy to use on other instruments as well, if you are into experimental music and advanced tecniques...

Hint.... rub them on the low strings of a grand piano, and have a mic close by....

Is a high quality product but doesn't look as nice in real life as they look in the picture. They make a nice sound though! Thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars eggy sounds 23 April 2013

These are really good, good sounds, and great for little fingers and adults too. The sound is not overpowering so it blends in well with other sounding struments.
