The Tomy Thomas Track Master Thomas at Echo Cave Set is a great first train set for any youngster. It has interesting layout options to allow little ones to lay the track in any shape, with slopes and joining parts. There's also a clever interactive feature between the track and the Thomas engine. Thomas can travel around the track, through the station, past the tower and over the bridge to Echo Cave coal station, and when his empty car passes through the coal station it magically "fills" with coal (the top of the coal car flips to reveal a pile of coal). This gift set includes a set of track changing points, buffer and sign to a new Sodor destination as well as special connectors for use with Tomy's Road & Rail track. Set layout dimensions are approximately 95cm x 128cm. The set requires 1 x AA battery to power Thomas round the track. Suitable for ages 3 years upwards.

We bought this toy and Rusty for our grandaughters 2nd birthday. We could not believe how much she and her 3 year old sister loved it. Who said trains are only for boys. It was easy to assemble and would appear to be able to with stand a lot of rough handling. A present for my Nephew, he loves it.
He made out he was ill to go home & play with it on Xmas day.
The next day Thomas had taken over the dining table & my sister was pleased with the peace & quiet, he won't leave it alone !!
