Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Disney Princess – Aqua Draw Mini Mats

Now children can Aquadraw their favourite characters – in colour. Simply fill the pen with water and draw to magically reveal a colour scene. No mess and no fuss and impossible to go out of the lines – ideal for young children taking their first creative steps.

All children love colouring books – and they have been known to keep children quiet for hours on end during long journeys and rainy days stuck indoors. Now the popular water drawing toy, Aqua Draw, gives children the chance to colour in cards with their favourite character on time after time.

The pack contains four cards with the outlines of four different Thomas scenes on each of them. An Aqua Draw Pen is included, which just needs to be filled with water (no ink – no mess). The child then only has to run the pen nib over the card to bring the colours from the scene to life – so it feels as if they have coloured it in themselves.

The colours will then fade away after a couple of minutes so that the scene can be coloured in again and again.

Young children will then feel that they have been extremely clever and artistic, as they cannot make a mistake and go outside of the lines as they might do when colouring-in on a normal sheet of paper.

Aqua Draw Mini Mats should be very cost effective too – as children can re-use the mats time and time again. No need to keep paying out for crayons and colouring in books.

The four picture cards show the following scenes:

  • Ariel in the sea
  • Snow White singing to the birds
  • Cinderella walking through the forest
  • Sleeping Beauty collecting flowers

  • Also available on Amazon – Thomas & Friends Aqua Draw Mini Mats and Winnie the Pooh Aqua Draw Mini Mats.

    Box Contains

    • 4 x Aqua Draw Mini Mats
    • 1 x Aqua Draw Pen

I thought this was a gerat product, particularly for travel or for a situation where I needed my daughter to be able to entertain herself. personally I felt it was best aimed at a 2-3 year old; by 4 my daughter had very little interest in this.

3.0 out of 5 stars not as tough as I'd hoped! 12 April 2009
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought these for my 22 month old girl, though they are good if the pen nib gets dirt in it the water struggles to come out and the child has to press very hard to get the board to change colour. also if your toddler like mines spills juice on it then be very careful when you clean it.. my husband wiped one with a sponge and it scrached the coating and made it totally useless... if they get spills on them then just soak them in a sink of water for an hour and rub it gently with your hand... that takes most things off and if it doesnt take it off then it's doubtful its gonna come off without damaging it! also if you'r toddler waves it around like mines it has a tendancy to bend and leave stress marks in the board.
    Hope this helps!

    3.0 out of 5 stars Overall 3 Stars 7 Jun 2009
Durability: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I purchased these and the Dora ones for my grand daughter when they were on special (Around 3.50 each I think)And was a little dissapointed even at that price when I received them.In the description the sizes are said to be 17 X 1 X 27 you take it that they mean cm, well you would be right by the 17 and 27 but NOT the 1 they are not 1cm thick they are only as thick as a piece of cardboard so can be easily bent or folded which will ruin them. I got round this by glueing them to pieces of plastic which strengthend them, but not everyone will have access to plastic or even have the time to do this so thats why only 3 stars. The good points are they do work very well and if the "pen" goes missing you can use a paint brush and water and still get the same effect. When fully coloured in my grand daughter runs back with it for me to "make the colours go away" so she can colour it all in again.(I usually use the hairdryer to dry the mats and they magicaly return to the unpainted state)
