4.0 out of 5 stars A really fun game 30 Dec 2006
Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 2.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Although a bit noisy, this game is loads of fun. It's a great one for little hands (our boy is almost 4) as it doesn't require fine motor skill. The penguins are really well balanced, so they almost always land upright. It is possible to flip them right out of the game, but that just seems to add to the fun.

My only complaint is that the game can tend to run rather long from time to time. It tends to depend a bit on luck!

5.0 out of 5 stars Still afFirm favourite after 3 years! 25 Nov 2009

This is a firm favourite with my three grand-daughters aged 7, 9 and 10. I bought it three years ago unknown and they love it. A bit noisy and hectic but that just adds to the fun! Well made, very robust and the batteries are just now running out. I recently had a clear out of their toys and asked them each to name 5 to keep and this was one of them. So that is definitely a "Best Buy" in my book any day. Well done Granny!

5.0 out of 5 stars Our 3-year old loves it 19 Jan 2009
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
We bought this game for our daughter for Christmas. It uses a simple motor making the penguins go round and round a track and you have to flip them into the centre when one falls into your little flipper controller. What's funny is that the penguins can bump each other out of the scoring area and it's all pretty random so there's no malice involved! There is an aim to the game, but that's a bit beyond our daughter at the moment, but she still loves playing it. It looks comical and it's really easy for little ones to play. I can see this being a long term success and it would be a good game for brothers and sisters to play as it's more about comedy than serious competition so there shouldn't be squabbles. Very highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Flippin 'eck 9 Dec 2008
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
A really great toy. We usually end up in fits of laughter when we play, especially when we include my 5 year old daughter's uncle - who is usually the biggest kid in the group. Have found that the toy is very durable, with nothing broken after over a year of use. It's also very easy to get the hang of, has a good balance of luck to skill, and helps young kids with their motor skills (and drunken grown-ups too). Recommended - for a variety of ages.
