Octopals by Tomy is a fun bath toy that will keep children entertained throughout their entire bathtime. Octopals consists of a mother Octopus with a baby octopus sat on the end of each of her eight tentacles. The head of the mother octopus separates and becomes a fun pouring cup, which can also be used as a showerhead for bath time fun. The baby octopuses each come away from the mother and can be used as fun bath squirters. There are so many activities that children will not want to get out of the bath until they have discovered them all time and time again. The little babies can also stick to the side of the bath or on wall tiles, which can lead to lots of bath time fun and games.Each baby octopus also has a number on its back which corresponds with numbers on the mothers tentacles – so there can also be some playful developmental play too, as the child matches the correct baby with the right number.

My daughter loves these Octopals. They're very cute and she likes to line up all the little babies in a row so that their eyes are facing her. They can be stuck to almost any surface in the bath with their suction cups and when you squeeze them over the bath, each one makes a different squeaky sound. Best of all, they're very easy to squeeze and so they can be kept very clean. Some squeezy bath toys grow mold if you don't empty out the water every time, and some of them are difficult to squeeze. These little guys are very squeezy and so you can be sure 99% of the water is out when you clean up after bathtime.

Have to say after several months despite extensive different techniques, we have not been able to stop mould growing inside the squeezy octopus...such a shame as my boys are unaffected by the mould but as parents it is not pleasant in view that the mould every now and then comes out into their mouths or bath!!!

OK like many of these bath toys they are good fun and can keep you playing in the bath with the kid(s) for ages.
But a note of caution!
When finished playing with them in the water make sure you empty out the water from these things.
As over time mould will build up inside of them and you see little dark spots inside. If the child puts them to their mouths and squirts of sucks from them like most will do then these mould spots will be swallowed.
They also will appear in the bath water as I have discovered.

Weird but fun
Strange looking little pond characters these...they are however of decent quality, and squirt water to add to the fun at bath time. Quite pricey, but probably worth it.

Received this and got 2 number 8's and no number 5, not much fun for a toddler to try and work that one out!!
