I bought this for my 3 year old but when it arrived the box stated "from 18 months" and I fear it is too babyish to hold interest in the long term. She does love it so far and the music is quite good but the lid is loose and keeps snapping off - a design fault.

This toy is potentially so great - the kids love it and it plays really nice little tunes. Not too annoying on that front, but I can't remember how many times I've had to put the CD lid back on. Every time my 4 year old opens it to change the CD it comes off in his hand and he's pretty dextrous. It's extremely easy to make this happen and therefore not really designed strongly enough for small hands. Because it's quite fiddly to put back on again I kind of dread it when this toy comes out as it really tests my patience. So... only 2 stars where it should have been 5 if the door wasn't so annoying.
