Product Description

Baby Sshh Frog is the ideal toy to help stop baby crying at the push of a button! Did you know that the average baby cries for 3 hours a day? Crying babies can be both emotionally and physically draining for parents, especially as it can be very hard to stop a baby crying when theres genuinely nothing wrong. Developed by the Japanese Acoustics Laboratory, Baby Sshh Frog has been scientifically developed to turn a crying baby into a happy baby. The brightly coloured toy is activated at the push of a button and has 2 modes designed to distract baby and make him/her forget the reason for crying.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sounds too good to be true... and it is :(, 27 Sep 2008
Don't expect a miracle! We read the reports of what this 'wunder-toy' could do and thought it might be a fun way to quieten down a grumpy baby. No such luck. It might be enough to calm some babies but it would take something altogether more spectacular to stop ours crying when he wants to!
Cute toy that makes noise and will distract a crying baby for about a minute. Nothing more, nothing less. you could probably spend £15 better than on Baby Sshh Sshh. Sorry to disappoint...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for a really young baby, but..., 18 Jan 2009

I bought this when my baby was crying a lot between 4pm and 8pm when she was just a few weeks old. It worked really well when nothing else would. I'm afraid that now she is 4 months old nothing makes her cry as much! She really doesn't like it and it isn't a very good standalone toy.

It was great for a few weeks but I wouldn't say it was worth £15 as it was so short-lived. We must have only used it maybe a dozen times max as she grew out of the early evening cry-fest by the time she was 10 weeks old.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product, 8 Aug 2008
A Kid's Review
My daughter was given one of these as a present. She absolutely loves it. It settles her when she is irritable. I was sceptical about the claims but there is definately somthing in it. It was not so effective when she was new born but since she was two months old it has been a favourite of hers.
