BSF have always been at the forefront of cutting-edge hardcore in a musical sense. Their highly original metal/punk/emo/whatever sound has, over the years, turned them into one of the most mature and threateningly valid alternative bands of modern times. Not for the causal listener as such, BSF posess a true and strengthy angst to their song writing which is loaded with emotion and energy, and Nathan Gray's lyrics cut deep with their stark acuteness over social issues and political overshadowing. Their 2001 Victory records release, After The Eulogy, propelled the band to new levels of popularity and influence, but with Tomorrow Come Today, the band have produced one of the most important artistic statements regarding world affairs of our time.
This is the first anti-war record regarding the situation in Iraq. But not only that, it is also the first record since 09-11 to address capitalism, terrorism and global imperialism in a realistic and sobering way. The American government has taken a dramatic and threatening political turn over the last couple of years, with 09-11 being very much the trigger. A confusing and frightening 'War On Terrorism' (although how you can wage war on the abstract is anyones guess), the most commercially publicised war ever with the attack on Iraq, but it's obvious that the world is very much divided over what is actually going on. BSF lay bare here an intelligent, consice and honest opinion here, and agree or disagree, you cannot deny it's stance.
There are messages here about not following the flock and exposing mass-produced thought for being the evil force it is, such as in Last Year's Nest. There are messages about redemption and the revealing of the negative, such as the blistering first track, Eviction Article.

Boysetsfire have diversified into a more melodic sound with tommorrow come today, their latest release; whilst also managing to capture the fury, passion and thrill of their live show onto cd. They maintain the metallic hardcore riffs, yet merge them with more melody, choruses that stick in your head, and a cynically marxist take on politics. The result; a bunch of great songs. Think Jimmy Eat World meets Glassjaw, passed through a mangle of Hundred Reasons and Refused, incorporating the politics of Rage, Nofx and Michael Moore. Will appeal to both hardcore fans and those of the new post-hardcore and screamo movements. Definitely worth an impulse buy.

Normally when i buy a rock, metal album, the first time i listen to it im like ....errr.. well this is ok i guess, but with ''BSF - tommorrow come today'', i was into it striaght away. And i never usually listen to an album all the way through, but how could i not with BSF its absolutely awesome!!!! 1st track gets you into the mood, then track 2 just blew me away ('last years nest' - my favourite song on the album)then carrying on through the album, you just cannot find one poor song! 'high wire escape artist','release the dogs' make this the best album of the year 2003 without a doubt! Id never heard of BSF before my mate said to buy it, an now they my fave band in the world and i cant wait to see them this weekend at the Download Festival in Donington

I bought this album quite a while ago, gave it a listen and didnt think much of it, a few weeks ago i picked it out of my collection for the fist time in ages and it seriously hasn't left my player since. This has quickly become favourite album ever. After a few listens you realise how much passion goes into every song on this album, be it sciting the wrongs of our government or showing the horror of abuse in the home, every song is charged with energy and makes this album such a good listen i would recommend it to anyone.
