Product Description

When Kate's husband, Ward, locates the son she put up for adoption as an unwed teen, she's understandably wary. What if he looks like his father instead of Ward?

The boy, now a man, is also wary. Who are these people who suddenly want him to be a part of their lives? Where were they when he was growing up, when he needed to feel a part of something bigger? After meeting each other, everyone's fears dissipate. And though it's not the joyous occasion Ward envisioned, it's not the disaster Kate feared either.

Then Ward passes away unexpectedly. Although Kate is devastated, she's thankful he never knew the truth. Facing the rest of her life alone, she returns to work in the company he founded. She's still coming to grips with life as a single when she learns her son was adopted into the family of Jesse, the boy who turned her away as a pregnant teen. Now, family drama multiplies, and she must deal with her feelings of anger and betrayal while also keeping her son and daughters from learning the truth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hope for tomorrow... 7 Mar 2012

I've had the delightful pleasure of reading another book written by Joyce DeBacco. Her light, wholesome stories center on family life and the trials and tribulations that often come with it. She has a wonderful way of depicting the joys and sorrows of everyday life.

"Tomorrow Blossoms" spans the life of Kate Beecham from a shy young girl to a mature woman who still hopes for a bright tomorrow. Kate balks when her successful, compassionate husband suggests that she search for a child she's never known. She's reluctant to open a buried wound from the past. Kate seems to have her hands full, partnering in her husband's construction business, and handling two young adult daughters with multiple problems of their own. As Kate's husband persists on digging into her past and hires a private detective, she agrees with her lips but not her heart, at first. When Kate suffers a terrible loss, her past comes back to comfort her rather than haunt her. Kate's story hits it all with teenage pregnancy, a lovely marriage and partnership, substance abuse, death, AIDS, and a bittersweet reunion with the past.

Review:

"Tomorrows Blossoms" by Joyce DeBacco was a real good read that I really enjoyed from the first page until the very last centering around family life with plenty of trials and tribulations that come from all of it.

"Tomorrows Blossoms" starts with Kate Beecham from a very shy young girl and ends as a mature woman. The author is able to relate to its readers all the feeling and emotions through her good dialogue of writing for this novel. There was definitely a feeling for Kate in all that she loss of a husband and family issues with two young adult daughters with many problems of their own and that she is so involved in. Will Kate ever find peace and joy in her life? Well, this is where I say you must pick up this wonderful read to find out.

In this novel the author is able to hit all the following issues.... teenage pregnancy, beautiful mmarriage, death, AIDS and then a reuniting of the past. I found "Tomorrows Blossoms" was a excellent family read with the author bringing out the many issues that we face and deal with on a daily basis and each of the "characters strengths far outshine their weaknesses." I would recommend this novel to all as a wonderful read.
5.0 out of 5 stars A stellar read! 12 April 2012
By Wendy L. Hines - Published on Amazon.com

The description pretty much tells you what the whole book is about, but what it doesn't do is give you the emotions and the feel of Joyce's spectacular writing. Joyce's writing brings you into her story of a family and their trials and tribulations. My heart wept for Kate's loss but I also empathized with her as she deals with other issues within her family. I prayed she would find peace and joy in her life, and I know after reading Joyce's other book, When Dreams are Born, that I would find a place in my heart for her new tale. If you haven't read any of her writing, you should treat yourself. She covers many issues that people deal with daily and her characters strengths far outshine their weaknesses. Another stellar read!
