After initial problems with the first model we had we found the customer care excellent from Tommee Tippee. They replaced that monitor with this one with no trouble at all but after a while we've become disappointed. The interference is dreadful and after around a year find that sometimes it just cuts out completely for no apparent reason. At first it was intermittent but now it stays that way. Our son can make enough noise now that it doesn't cause us sleepless nights but we're expecting a second baby any day now and we've decided we need to buy a second monitor as we just can't rely on this one for a young baby.

In complete contrast to the previous review I have found this to be an excellent monitor. Never usually write reviews but had to tell you we are very happy with it. Had previously had to return a cheaper monitor to supermarket where I got it as the range was poor. This Sure Sound monitor is not as expensive as some but very reliable -can hear every squeak and have used it for over a year with no complaints. Used it in hotels and other houses when visiting relatives - easy. Temperature reading is very useful. Didn't use the movement sensor in the cot.

This monitor worked fine for a couple of weeks, then started to pick up interference from all parts of the house, including crying from a neighbours baby monitor. Only 2 of the channels worked, and both these had issues with cutting out and interference. The temperature gauge is useful for nightimes to know how many layers to put on the little one. I didn't find the night-light strong enough for night feeds.
