Tommee Tippee's NEW Nappy Wrapper™ Starter Kit, contains our award winning Nappy Wrapper plus 5 x newborn refill cassettes and 1 weaning cassette for when nappy smells start to get much stronger.

Twists and seals each nappy individually to lock away smells, germs and mess.

The Nappy Wrapper™ is a simple way of dealing with nappy disposal, locking away smells and germs with a twist. And, it means a lot fewer trips to the outside bin.

The clever little tub conceals a cassette of fragranced, anti-bacterial film. Each nappy is wrapped individually in the film, so you never have to see it again.  As the tub holds up to 28 nappies, you can forget about it for days.

All new tubs include a cassette of 0-6 months film.
Refill cassettes are also widely available. There are two versions : 0-6 months (newborn) and 6+ months (weaning).

As first time parents, we bought this blindly as a sort of experiment when our son was born. Basically, you place the soiled nappy into the nappy bin, twirl the lid thingy and it is wrapped up compactly ready to receive the next nappy. When it contains approx 50 nappies, you put the lid on, twist to break off the wrapper, and empty it into a normal bin bag etc. It sounds fiddly but it isn't. Its clean and hygienic and saves you having a bin full of nappy sacs anywhere near the nursery. It doesn't leave an odour, although I wouldn't keep it next to a radiator, and a quick squirt of anti bac spray all around does the trick when you're changing the cartridge. The cartrdiges are available in all supermarkets that we have been to, next to the nappies and wipes. I haven't given it five stars because nothing really makes dirty nappies a barrel of laughs, but this is clean, convenient and once you get the hang of it, its actually very easy.

A previous reviewer has got the maths wrong! The cassette doesn't only wrap 28 nappies it wraps about 100 nappies and lasts around 1 month. The bin holds about 28 nappies before it is full, but the wrap is tied off then restarted. Really the review should be about how well the product works rather than whether the reviewer can afford it! Personally we have found it invaluable. Certainly it is a luxury rather than an essential - but looking after a baby is hard work and anything which makes life easier is a welcome relief.

Ignore the special offer on this product. The idea is that the starter kit is fairly cheap, but the £5.49 replacement cassettes are a complete rip-off.

I bought one of these during my "buy everything we MIGHT possibly need for our baby" period, and it's the only purchase I truly regret.

Buy yourself a pack of nappy bags from Woolies/Wilkinsons, or even some freezer bags (they're thicker so won't rip, and will hide the smell !) and you'll save yourself a fortune compared to buying these overpriced products.
