Normally they should be used in order to close bottles for milk storage but I sometimes use them in order to shake the bottle. I shake it so hard so the milk powder and the water mix quite homogeneously. If I would use the teat and shake the bottle so hard, the liquid may get leaked from its end. I don't like it that way. I shake the bottle with the closer, then put the teat on it and give it to my babyboy.

I have struggled to get this product in the shops and am very pleased that I found it on Amazon at a very reasonable price. Screw caps fit all standard tommee tipee baby bottles. Another great buy.

Putting a lid on the bottle can be a useful way of saving space in the fridge if you make feed up in advance. However I have found these Tommee Tippee lids to be pretty poor since they don't seal properly. Milk always dribbles (sometimes sprays!) out when shaking a bottle to dissolve the formula into hot water. Even tightening the lid very firmly doesn't always stop the leaks, and it then becomes almost impossible to remove the lid again once the bottle has cooled. The bottles with our Ardo breast pump have a rubber seal in the lids, and I think this would be an improvement improvement Tommee Tippee could make to these lids.

I have the tommee tippee steraliser starter set and currently expressing so these lids are great to store milk in the fridge or for when I go out in the cool bag

Prefect fit for my TT bottles
I tried the top on all TT bottle sizes and they all fit perfectly, just what I need to store my breastmilk and the price is cheaper than Argos and other stores.
