My daughter suffered terribly from colic and so we needed to find something new for her to try to help reduce colic's effects. We bought these bottles after someone recommended we alter her bottles and seeing as these are entitled 'anti colic bottles' we thought they sounded ideal!
They are brilliant and I am glad that we bought them. Although colicky episodes were not completely diminished they definitely were not as bad.
The bottles have a special mechanism in them which stop babies from taking in too much excess air as they are feeding which reduces the build up of wind in their tummies which usually leads to colic later in the day. As well as reducing colic they also have a heat indicator which will tell you if the milk is too hot. If the bottle is blue then it is a suitable temperature but if it's pink then it's too warm. I find this a very useful extra to this bottle which makes it stand out from the others.
They are a nice shape so easy to hold and I do think they have helped reduce my daughter's colic. Tommee Tippee are a well trusted brand and they have performed well yet again.

I was disappointed with these bottles. Unfortunately they didn't help with my little ones wind and i found them fiddly to wash up etc. Also the little rubber bits at the ends of the inner tubes aren't very robust and most of them tore within a few weeks of use. They also seem to leak and i can't stop them from doing so.
I have purchased Avent bottles and these are much easier to wash up etc and my little one gets on better with them, although they haven't reduced her wind much.
I've also tried Dr Browns bottles and found that they were the best quality very sturdy etc but you have to mix formula in a very specific way and can't shake them as they leak everywhere. They didn't do much to reduce wind either so i have reverted back to the avent bottles. These are the simplest to keep clean and my baby drinks well from them.
I have heard good things about all these brands so i thought it was worth trying all the different ones available to find the best for my little one.

I brought these bottles for my daughter who was suffering from colic at the time. Although it did not fully alleviate the problem, it did help prevent too much air being taken down with the milk.
