This Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature BPA-free Travel Steam Steriliser is a unique handy travel steriliser that lets you sterilise one bottle at a time. It's small enough to pack in a changing bag, compact enough to stay in your microwave, quick enough to use for nighttime feeds and safe to use any time, anywhere. Use home or away, it's suitable for use in the microwave or can be used as a cold water steriliser and is completely free from the chemical bisphenol-A. It has a unique pourer in the lid that lets you empty out water without removing the lid. The steriliser conforms to the latest bottle feeding guidelines, which suggest you make up one bottle at a time and comes ready to use with one 260ml Closer to Nature BPA-free bottle and teat.

We bought this for a travel trip rather then lugging the electric one away with us, and since purchasing we use this all the time and rarely use the electric one.
It's perfect in the sense that you only sterilize one bottle at a time as per the current guidelines so no need to sterilize bottles that your not going to use.
In fact it's so good we bought 2 and use the other one for steaming asparagus and sweetcorn
My only gripe is that you can't fit the larger Avent bottle complete with lid in the steamer at the same time (the bottle and teat yes, but not the lid) but as this is Tommee Tippee and not Philips I can't really complain as it wasn't designed for the Avent system
My advice (especially to new parents) don't waste your money on expensive electric steamers when this is all you'll ever need.

We've used the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature range of bottles since a few weeks after our twins were born, and have found them to be great.
On a recent trip we accidentally melted our 4-bottle steam sterilizer by resting it on an electric hob! (Not a great plan!) So we bought this thinking that it was a 4-bottle sterilizer.
While it only takes one bottle at a time, it's a very handy accessory that really doesn't take up much space, especially on short trips to visit friends and family.
That said, with twins, it does take up more time (which we don't really have much of) so quickly bought the matching 4-bottle sterilizer.

Too big for my microwave

Perfect for occasional use
Easy to use steam steriliser for 1 bottle, 3 minutes in the microwave. It has enough space to do a dummy at the same time too!
