Really good. Does what it says on the tin. Only fault I have and its with TomTom and not specifically the satnav is that the TomTom website does not give instruction on how to update/upload maps onto the satnav.

Having used tomtom satnav for years now i upgraded to tom tom truck. The idea is great and fairly acurate, and it does as a rule avoid the tricky problems of navigating a 44 tonne truck round the UK. But Dartford tunnel, it refuses to go under, and selects Blackwall tunnel in stead.
If no truck route found, and a car route is used instead, it avoids the weight restictions, rather than low bridges.
It chooses the shortest route, instead of the easiets (sometimes then quicker) route for trucks
no motorway servises, or truck stops.Nor has it any of te industrial areas on, and if in doubt, a weight limit is imposed. Ie all the containerports in uk is no acces for trucks??
It give the impresion of a developer sat in a office that has no idea of problems driving a truck, and it gives the impresion that TomTom have not consuted the trucking industri about what is needed.
But as a experienced driver, it is a great tool, just dont throw away your trucking maps yet!

Good quality product, however, although there is a lot of countries covered overall, the actual restrictions for large vehicles are only covered in a few of the main countries. Hopefully Tom Tom will rapidly provide updates for this device otherwise it makes this very expensive for what you actually get.
Look carefully at the other options before you decide.
In favour of this device is that as updates are provided it is easy and fast to download them onto your device keeping you up to date with regulations/hieghts etc
Expensive but does what it says on the box.

sat nav rip off
this was a tampered with product and I am having great difficulty returning it, they say they are abroad but that dosen't help the fact that I have now paid for this product.

what a waste of time & money!!!!!!!!!!
Worked fine without non-TomTom SD card.......soon as SD card inserted, sat-nav froze on a picture of an aussie road-train!!!!!!!!!!!! sent back and got a partial refund! Read more
