The product itself is very good and comes in a sealed TomTom box with all accessories absolutely like a new item. The problem is that despite what Amazon says, TomTom's "latest map guarantee" does not apply to refurbished products. If you do not mind using an old map, then it is definitely worth saving a few pounds over a new item. However, do bear in mind that when you connect to TomTom Home to update the device, you will get a message that the latest map guarantee has expired. It will then cost £39.95 to update the map to the latest version. The maths just doesn't add up for me so I am returning the refurbished item and buying a new one.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This GPS was refurbished. It is supposed to work as well as a new one. Unfortunately, it was not the case. The GPS failed to recognise many speed cameras. The routes suggested did not make sense. I returned the product. Amazon, as usual, acted quick and in a professional manner.

I just used my sat nav over the weekend, and really pleased with it , I purchased a refurbished one and everything came in a new box with a all new sat nav and componants and a years warranty, I am so glad I did not buy a new one, worth every penny.
