Cheap but effective,

The build quality is not 100% brilliant but not so bad that it causes any concern. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is its early and I haven't had my cuppa yet. I would recommend.

To be honest, bought this item to replace the missing one and it works great. Not much else to say apart from great replacement item.

Having purchased a GO 910 a couple of years ago; and on moving to the Middle East I had been unable to use the TomTOm due to a lack of mapping. When I recently discovered that TomTom now did (albeit out of date) Middle East Mapping I dug it out of the box only to find that the original docking station was still in the UK (storage).
I was initially surprised that the sticker on the front of the docking station specified TomTom Go 510 and did not refer to it fitting the 710 and 910 (take the sticker off!). The 910 that I have did not slot into place as easily as the original docking station; and so I thought that I had been sent the wrong docking station. However, with careful manipulation it does fit. You should note that the fitting and removal of the docking station should not be conducted in a ham-fisted way and needs a somewhat delicate touch! It was, however, cheap and does the trick so I can't really complain.
