I blame myself. Having read the many reports criticising the zip on this case, I decided it couldn't be as bad as that, so I went ahead and bought one. I told my wife as I opened the packaging that I would need to be careful because it was meant to be fragile when ,lo and behold ,the little puller came off in my hand. I think it's ridiculous that an item selling at this price has had such a basic design flaw for so long.

This case is hard and fits like a glove for the 520 or 720. Im very pleased with mine. From the reviews it seems this is way better than the "deluxe leather version" which seems to be tacky. Go for this - great price from Amazon too!

I bought this for my TTG 720 it's the perfect fit.
Please be aware that it does NOT have internal pockets for extra memory cards and the shell is quite hard, so it will give adequate protection against everyday knocks, it's got a red satin-like finish on the inside, but NO padding as such.
I paid £12+p&p for it, so at that price it's worthwhile as it could save you the expense of a new TTG (£200+).

Does not fit a TomTom Go Live 820
