I recently bought a TOM TOM RIDER PRO for a motor bike tour of Italy.
Several friends have the TOM TOM RIDER 2 which supplied the charging bike mount as standard.
The RIDER PRO is supplied with a non charging mount!!!!!!
Doing quite an extensive tour with no reliable access to mains power to charge the TOM TOM up it's essential to have a charging mount fitted to the bike.
TOM TOM obviously knows this, nice way of squeezing more money out of you.
The charging dock its self is a nice well built compact piece of kit which comes complete with the power lead to attach it to the bike's battery. Shame it didn't come in the RIDER PRO box as standard.

There's no need to buy this item - overpriced and with 6-7 hours battery life, most journeys won't need the charge. Get a £5 cigarette lighter lead and plug that it while you have a coffee if you're stuck.
This is just an over-priced profit-maker for TT.
TomTOm Urban Rider GPS is superb.

I bought this to fit to a second bike. Considering that TomTom can't be bothered to stock this item the price was good compared to others. The battery lead is included although I did not know this at the time I ordered it. Amazon recommended I purchase a battery lead so I assumed it was not included. I wasted money getting the separate lead but I may need it later for another bike. Speedy delivery and item as ordered. Good service provided by supplier.
