Works well, abit anoying to place the battery inside. Instructions not clear at all on where to apply opening pressure. Watch out if your battery in your tomtom is low, cause the tomtom will automatically switch off the bluetooth in order to save battery time. And like me you may like to run down your tomtom battery to preserve it from "battery memory effect".
Quick tip, keep your finger on the middle button above the volume keys to go straight to the shortcuts menu.
TOMTOM please, please, please place a freaking mute button on the remote, Or allow the volume to go all the way down to mute. Not everyone needs instructions shouted out all the time. And then having to go through the menu to mute it all the time.

No problems with this, connects well and does the job especially for working an itinarary route. Batteries do not seem to last that long so recommend re-chargeables. Much easier to use that trying to dab in addresses on a screen mounted satnav. Buy it for heavy use and frequent navigation programming.
Well, it works, just. But nowhere near as good as the previous generation one I had for a GO 700. That was a direct wireless cnnection, always on. The new ones are a Bluetooth connection, don't work at switch on. Need to press once to wake up, again to activate Bluetooth, wait for connection to TomTom. Several seconds wait all told. And then when in the menus, the response is much slower than it was on my 4-year old GO700. Main use for me is as the Phone interface, still no access to the 'end call' icon - which is not even on the screen now! You have to hit the GREEEN phone icon - to get the RED 'End' icon (!), then press it! Both mid-screen icons, i.e. not available from the Remote buttons, which are now only bottom-left & bottom-right. Given it's Bluetooth, have to wait & see about battery life, likely to be limited presumably. But it's still a lot better for most of the time than having to reach for the screen. I have mine stuck with Blu-tack to console by gear lever. Very handy.

Works well although takes a lot longer to put destination ect, Had trouble connecting when other bluetooth device connected e.g. mobile phone.

Useful Accessory - but put new batteries in when you get it
