I purchased this item as I needed to position my sat nav (a Tom Tom One) closer to my driving position.
The Dash Disks did exactly what they promised to do, they stuck to my dash and haven't moved since, and I am not exactly light handed when I remove my sat nav from the mount. ;)
The top surface of the disk is a polished plastic which provides an excellent surface for the mounts sucker to attach to. The underside has a thin adhesive pad, this helps when positioning on the slight curve of a dash.

Firstly after reading some reviews I opted to pay a little more than the min price and ordered direct from Amazon hoping I would get the original product. Thankfully the item arrived in an original fully sealed TomTom Pack (sealed hard plastic casing) showing compatability with GO, XL, One XL, One and Start.
With regard to using the item take care with the position. On my first attempt I mounted the disc on an area of the dash which was not completely flat and had a pattern. The disc appear to stick OK but once the TomTom was mounted the problems started. After about 10 mins the Easyport became unstuck and continued to do this every 10 - 20 minutes irrespective of whether the 'sucker' was dry, clean, wet etc. After the 4th attempt the dash disc then also started to show signs of movement.
I therefore removed the disc (The glue can be cleaned off with warm soapy water although this does take some time and I would bet on some surfaces leave a mark. I would also guess that the disc cannot be successfully re-used without some more glue). The second disc was then positioned on a relatively flat and smooth part of the dash (which was cleaned prior to application) and the result was perfect. The Easyport sticks until removed and thankfully the disc has also showed no signed of movement.
I am therefore happy to give this item 5* as, as long as you mount on a clean, flat and smooth part of your dash it should work realy well.

No more grubby circles on your windscreen. Can locate sat nav much nearer than when on the screen for those who need glasses for close reading but not driving

Tom Tom Dash Discs
We always found installing Tom Tom on windscreen very difficult, but the discs are easy to install & use & is more convenient and easy to see the navi.

they do the job
The discs were well packed and delivered quickly. The one I used stuck well to the dashboard and I have stuck and removed the Start 20 to it several times without a problem.

gps dash stickers
Been using these for months now.Can,t fault them better than sticking tomtom on window screen.Easier to fit tomtom to pad than window screen well pleased.

Did exactly as required
Bought these to fasten my TomTom vie live nearer to me on the dash.
Cleaned the dash with a damp cloth with washing up liquid on it.

Mount your TomTom on any flat surface. Providing your suction mounting bracket is in good condition and applied to the polished surface of the disc firmly, then all is well. Read more

Tom Tom sticky pads
Great for sticking onto a dashboard - surface needs to be flat but is very effective and better than having it stuck on your windscreen.
