4.0 out of 5 stars Calling all A Level English Lit Students!!, 14 May 2001
By alibro17@aol.com (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
As an English Lit. student studying "Arcadia" by Tom Stoppard, this book has been invaluable. Being as it is a very complex play indeed, and there is very little material available on it. But help is at hand! This book explains some of the plays difficult theories, and if you are studying the play my advice is BUY IT NOW! The only downside is that the book is not entirely about Arcadia, and so you are paying for some irrelevant info, but hey, when you're panicking about revision, who cares?

5.0 out of 5 stars Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, 9 Jan 2004
By Ammon Cheskin (Wotton-u-Edge, Gloucestershire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This is one of the funniest and most original plays that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Tom Stoppard is able to present the most banal of situations and turn them into something very deep, tragic, thought provoking and above all, funny.
A great read for anyone who likes to be entertained.
