After a devastating nuclear exchange in the Middle East, America and Russia stand on opposite sides in the quest for the world’s resources.

While on a recon mission over Russia, Joint Strike Force pilot Major Stephanie Halverson tests a revolutionary new radar device—until she is shot down. In the jungles of Ecuador, relentless Marine Raider Captain Mikhail “Lex” Alexandrov pursues a wanted terrorist—and stumbles on an international conspiracy that will take him and his team into battle. On an island off Japan, a former Russian spy is hunted by her comrades, and her only way out could be to defect to the West.

Each of their fates intertwines with a deadly cabal thought to have been destroyed, but it was only wounded. And now it has returned—stronger than ever…

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT a Tom Clancy novel!! 11 Dec 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
As an avid "die hard" tom Clancy Fan, I cannot understand why people think this is written by Tom Clancy!...IT IS NOT. Tom Clancy carries a theme/certain characters through all his novels....... Peter Telep collaborated on one book and is now hoping to cash in on the "tom Clancy" name and popularity, Sorry but it wont ever be coming back...He's dead!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Oh Mr Clancy!!! 25 April 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Typical Clancy but he seems to be pandering to body counts rather the his earlier work which have sub plots on top on plots being intertwined to keep you guessing.
OK for a trip and to pass hours but not a memorable read.
