I do like the rattle and so do my kids but it's a little heavy and tough for small babies who can bang it on their faces and get hurt.
the tolo gripper rattle is very tuff and very safe for baby to play with she has bashed it against the wall and floor so many times yet not even a scratch on it above all she loves it i was worriwd before i bought it with it having beeds in it but now i am happy and feel safe to let her play with it

This toy is a favourite with my 6 month old daughter. She loves the noise, it's easy to grip and it's good to chase. She can really chew on it as well because of the durable plastic. I'm using it at the moment to get her to crawl by rolling it away and getting her to chase it. A really good all rounder
