I have been an avid collector of the Tolkien calendar for around 13 years. Ted Nasmith has featured in a number of previous editions but I would have to say that this 2004 calendar is one of the best in years.

I like Nasmith's work - it's a bit more "fantastical" than the work of Howe or Lee, who both tend toward a more "realistic" approach, which compliments the chosen pictures well. On that note, the pictures themselves are good choices to highlight the some of the salient parts of the "Return of the King".

The calendars that support the films are excellent, but these original calendars are little works of art and, I believe, colectors items.

Highly recommended.
