Bought a cheap loo seat and of course the metal fixings were rubbish. Ended up the seat moving around - a bit dangerous! Did a search for a new one and was about to spend 25 quid when I saw this kit. All the fittings matched the existing seat and took 20 minutes to fit - how green is that! if you can manage basic DIY skills this is for you. N.B you need to keep the existing screws as they are not supplied

I bought these hinges to replace the manky old ones on my wooden loo seat.
The kit comes with everything you would need to start from scratch. The hinges seem to be really substantial and I'm hoping they won't pit and corrode like the last ones (from a well known edge-of-town retailer. Incidentally, they no longer sell these items separately - you have to buy a new seat too!).
The bars are about twice as long as you need, so I've cut mine in half, and although plenty of screws were provided, they are really short so I used my own.

I bought these hinges to replace identical looking ones, one of which had snapped. I was delighted to find that the old issue of a wobbly seat was gone thanks to the new hinges. It was only when I took the original hinges off that I found they had much too much play in the joints, unlike the new ones. The new ones are smooth without any wobble. The seat involved is a resin one with a nice beach theme. By the way keep and re-use the original seat screws as they are specific to the seat. I heartily recommend these guys -- nice price, excellent quality, and fast delivery.

This Hinges are not bad themselves but I wonder if the sellers expect you to buy the screws separately otherwise where do they expect you to get 8 toilet hing screws?!!!!
