Funny , 3 April 2008
The Toilet of Doom, written by Michael Lawrence, is about Jiggy McCue, Angela Mint, Pete Garnett, Milo Dakin, Julia Frame and Face Ache Dakin (who is Milo's father and Jiggy, Angie, Pete, Milo and Julia's form teacher). There are several other characters but these are the most important. The basic plot of this story is that Milo tells the Three Musketeers (Jiggy, Angie and Pete) about a website and they look at it. But they had no idea it would change their lives...
The best bit in the story is when Angie (Jiggy really) is good at netball (even though the real Angie is not) and Jiggy (who is Angie really) is a rugby superstar (even though Jiggy is rubbish at it) and they worry about their own (real) reputations. My least favourite part is when they change back to their usual selves because they were, actually, better as each other.
The rating I would give the book is 9/ 10 and I would recommend it to kids aged 7 - 11.

Ha ha! Wow is this book is great..., 4 April 2005
This book is fab! I love the Jiggy Mcue series (I've read The Killer Underpants, Maggot Pie, The Snottle and, obviosly, The Toilet of Doom) because they're so funny, witty and origional, not to mention crazy(in a good kind of way)! I would recomend this book to anyone 8 and above. Im 12 at the mo and I think its great, and im sure my sister(10years old) would enjoy it too, if she would stop playing football long enough to give it a chance. I started reading this book in a library, and had to put it away pretty quickly cos the librarians told me if i didnt stop laughing theyd chuck me out... So i bought it as soon as i could, and giggled all the way through (which is saying somthing, cos even my sis calls me a moody almost-teenager, and shes only 5!) Basicly, im telling anyone who bothered reading this reveiw who has a sence of humor to stop reading this now and BUY IT!!!!!

Definitely NOT one to flush down the pan!, 22 Oct 2001
After Harry potter ignited a spark for reading in my otherwise disinterested 8 year old, I was keen to keep the embers alight. What though could be as good as the aforementioned? This book is just the job. Using language and "in-jokes" that kids will howl at, it tells the story of a computer game known simply as "The Toilet Of Doom" where you can exchange your life with someone else's. This only becomes apparent after our hero has swapped bodies with his best friend Angie. Yes, Angie of the female variety! My son laughed out loud at least once on every page and for the first time in his life, raced to his bedroom each evening to find out what new mishap had befallen his new found friend. Where Harry Potter and friends could be the new Famous Five, Toilet of Doom is more SMTV meets The Queen's Nose. Buy it and fight over who reads it first!
