Bright, well fitting (easily over clothes), easy to get on and off and very waterproof. Not sure what else is needed.

These overtrousers are fantastic, I use them in combination with wellies to keep my son's lower half dry on wet mornings and they work a treat! Handier to get on and off then the dungaree style overtrousers too, adjustable at the waist so one size fits all!

These trousers are lightweight, easily adjustable and very waterproof. Both my kids have them (7yr and 5 yrs) and get lots of wear as we believe in not letting weather stop our plans and with these the kids don't mind as they are totally protected.
