As an avid fan of Nat & Nic's, and having followed them since All Saints, it's only till now that I've brought my own copy of their book having borrowed it out the local library more than twice. In fact, they've remained my favourite members since I've read this book and brought their debut duo album, Everything's Eventual.
Nevertheless, writing a review for this book five years down the line is hard in terms of it's context because obviously, All Saints have since reunited and made another album (Studio 1) and become friends again. However, what I think drew me more to them after reading the book was the fact that they never picked up on stories about them during the first incarnation of All Saints when they were portrayed as the "tabloid party airheads" who in the words of Nicole were "the pretty ones that stood at the back".
They waited to have their say and I think that's what made it more believable for me. Obviously, this is just my opinion, but if you're looking for a book that will have you gripping the edges of the pages then this is most definitely it. A highly enjoyable read from a seriously underrated pop duo.
