My son has enjoyed this very much.All the four cds are very interesting with nice animations and attactive colours. The idea of teaching counting by identifying different things is very good and my son loves to do that. With this pack he has learnt to identify letters,and also spell them.He is also slowly trying to form spellings of his own.The audio and animations are of great use with some praising comments which he likes very much.Overall it seems to be very useful both as entertainment with stuff like paintings,games ect.. and educational with programmes to teach them numbers and alphabet.

Excellent Learning ProgramMy 2.1/2 year old son got this software package for Christmas 2000 and it has been both a great learning and entertainment program. There are four CD's, Arthurs Reading Race, Muppets Sorting & Ordering, Crayola Coloring Book & Mr. Potato Head Saves Veggie Valley. Arthurs Reading Race was the first for my son to really begin to enjoy. Arthur has bet his little sister DW an ice cream if she could read 10 words. As the program progresses through each scene and DW reads words you can click on several different items on the screen, which are interactive. There is also a game, which as of now is a little challenging for him, but he enjoys clicking on the screen. Muppets Sorting &....my son really started to learn how to sort and order through different activities. They get progressively harder but all are challenging. Mr. Potato Head is another well made software program, offering challenging matching activities, changing face features and an exploring the veggie valley which is very interactive as well. (Crayola Coloring Book)....there are hundreds of colors to choose from and the pictures that are created are very good. All in all a very good package for the price, offering hours of entertainment and learning. |
