I bought the Big Bubble Book for my youngest son aged 11. He gets a lot of pleasure watching bubbles float away and gets very annoyed with them when the wind changes and they don't go the 'right way'. I Googled bubbles to see if there was a variation on the bubble theme.
Joy oh joy Big bubbles. I had to order the set.
The book gives you a recipe for Big bubble mixture (easy enough) and a collapsible bubble wand.
We tried using it and did make some fairly big bubbles about the size of a fully inflated space-hopper. I don't think our technique is quite right yet or the humidity on the day was as high as it could have been.
But we, or I had enormous fun with what we achieved.
Our biggest bubble floated off for approximately 300m.
Great fun.
Not for those who like to keep too clean as the bubble mixture contains cornflour. A bit messy.

Do you remember the excitement of bubbles? Now that you're older, you can get excited again with this product. It is oooohhh soooo simple, but still great fun to make bubbles and see your kiddies enjoying and getting into the swing of it as well. The bubble making item itself feels okay and is easy to assemble and easy to use. The book is again easy to read and gives nice little tips on getting good and big bubbles. Follow the recipe and you're on your way of having great fun.

This bubble maker is amazing. The bubbles are massive. The book also gives a mix of practical (how to mix the best bubble solution and ideal conditions), historical and fun (how to make other bubble implements) information. Would thoroughly recommend this product and will probably buy again in the future as a gift (for person of any age).
(Would be great if you could choose the colour of bubble wand, but this is a very very small point!)
