We got this for Xmas for our two-and-a-half year old son. His face was a picture when he unwrapped it and he has played with it every day since - he has great fun enacting scenes from Thomas The Tank Engine and putting the engines away each night is part of the bed-time routine.

I bought this for my three year old boy as he is collecting wooden railway of various brands.
We went for this one as it seems good value and a large size. It looked really good first glance and my son enjoys playing with it. However, we have had to already glue three little parts. It doesn't effect the play but its a bit annoying for the price it costs. I would also say the engine sheds frustrate him a little, as you can't fit in the longer trains just short ones like Thomas. My son enjoys opening and closing the doors.
