Product Description
A simple two-piece cardboard fir tree is placed in the container of liquid supplied. Within a few hours colourful flowers begin to appear, and grow on to produce an astonishing and attractive thing which will last almost indefinitely if protected and sensibly positioned. It comes in a box which fully explains and illustrates what to do and expect.

Bought as a stocking filler for my 7 year old - easy to set up - gives good fast results (potassium phosphate is the magic liquid)- even my 5 year old kept returning at regular intervals and the "WOW look at it NOW!" comments kept coming. The tree took about 6-7 hours before it was fully formed. When kept somewhere relatively undisturbed the crystals did harden off and last a while although its obviously still quite delicate

This is a good item to help teach you child about chemical reactions. It is a basic item but not a toy!!! Me and my son (4) did this together and he gets real enjoyment from checking it each day. Make sure you keep it away from water as it's crystals fall off!! On the whole a good item for the money, and a good talking piece when friends come around.

This product really speaks for itself, it's fun to watch the crystals grow and is very pretty, only trouble is its very delicate and you can;t dust it :)

this should not be sold as a toy
this is not a toy, given to my son as a present what a lot of rubbish, made better Crystal's as a kid with salt and water, it's small, can not be moved, and toxic!
