Product Description

Product Description

Chelsea Myles earns her living as an actress with her uncle's theatre troupe, performing cheap plays on the streets of London and picking the customers' pockets. Until one night, a robbery goes awry and Chelsea is left holding a purse with enough gold to buy her passage to Australia, and the chance of a fresh start. Once on board the vessel, Chelsea is intrigued by a fellow passenger, Quaid Tanner, who is returning to his vineyard in Australia. As much as Quaid admires the feisty, courageous Chelsea, circumstances seem destined to keep them apart. But in an exotic new land, under wide Australian skies, two passionate hearts may find their destiny.

Struggled through it.... 3 April 2011
By GoBarbie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am sorry but this book fell short of what I expected from this author. I normally love her work but I struggled to get through this one. I have never felt compelled to write a review before but I thought I owed it to the readers out there to pass this one by. It was much too long with a lot of boring filler and loose ends throughout....The love story wasn't believable and the characters in it was just bland. Very disappointed that I took the time to finish thinking it would get better.

This was an excellent book from cover to cover. Fern Michaels is a favorite author of mine and I am never disappointed in her offerings. To Taste the Wine was one of her best and I would certainly recommend it. I purchase all of my books through Amazon and have yet to be displeased with any of them.
